Textile Materialien sind die Grundlage für Tausende von Kunstwerken. In meinen Arbeiten ist das Textil aber nicht nur Untergrund für eine darüberliegende Farbschicht. Farbe und Untergrund sind eins. Zwar ist es eine klassische Leinwand zum Malen, aber sie wird für jede Farbe komplett mit Pflanzen in einem Färbebad durchgefärbt. Jede Farbe nach eigener Rezeptur und Temperatur. Als Reservetechniken kommen Bienenwachs, Paraffin und Harz zum Einsatz, die jeweils einen eigenen Schmelzpunkt haben und so unterschiedliche Farbschichten darunter freisetzen. Erst wenn die Arbeit als fertig gilt, wird sie auf Keilrahmen montiert.

Textile materials are the basis for thousands of works of art. In my works, however, the textile is not only the underground for a layer of paint on top. The color and the underground are one. It is a classic canvas for painting, but it is completely dyed for each color with natural dyes. Each color according to its own recipe and temperature. Beeswax, paraffin and resin were used as reserve techniques, each of which has its own melting point and thus releases different layers of color underneath. Only when the work is considered finished is it mounted on stretchers.
